Why parts matter
The parts used in a repair affect how the car fits, how it looks, and how it protects you in a future collision. Panels that do not fit well leave uneven gaps and cause paint and rust problems later. That is why we focus on factory-quality parts.
OEM, aftermarket and recycled parts
- OEM (original equipment manufacturer) β made by or for your vehicle's manufacturer. Best fit and finish, and the best way to keep your car's value and warranty.
- Aftermarket β made by another company. Often cheaper. Quality varies.
- Recycled (used) β original parts taken from another vehicle. Can be a good choice for older cars.
Our promise: no surprises
We follow California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) rules. Your itemized written estimate shows which parts are OEM, aftermarket or recycled, before any work starts. Nothing is done without your written authorization. Our BAR license number is #313281.
What to ask any shop
- Which parts are OEM and which are not?
- Will the repair keep my vehicle warranty valid?
- Is everything in writing before the work starts?
We are happy to answer all three.
